Clamp Heads are an economical alternative to the full size bar clamps. The Head and Slide with steel mainscrew can be fitted to a wooden batten 25 mm (1”) thick by 38 mm (1 ½”) wide, and of any desired length. The timber is then drilled with two 11.1mm (6/16”) diameter holes producing a light duty bar clamp as strong and true as the timber you choose.
